Flashback....WENA/CEE ER meeting and Amsterdam
Hey people,
It's been quite a busy and travelling time for me, and it's time to catch up with updates from my life :)

For those who are overwhelmed by the abbreviations in the title - don't worry, it just means Europe and North America :) 17-20 of November was dedicated to The Netherlands:) I went for a External Relations (ER) conference in Rotterdam, and had a wonderful time there. Training by ING, networking with other ER people in Europe, and then spending a great weekend visiting Amsterdam and chilling in Rotterdam.
Some highlights... ER meeting was one of those things that made me think 'I love my job!' . First day was held in ING office, with a panoramic view of Rotterdam :) It looked like SimCity PC game, one side was commercial area, other - residential :) very funn

y :) The whole day sessions were provided and catered by ING, we were almost convinced that this is the company of our dreams. And it was a nice environment to chat around with other ER people. Second day for me was a bit of a work, as I am a part of task force, but I never regret that international involvement :) It was cool, and we came up with quite some solutions.
What is more, I got to see Laura, Ruta and Romas - the whole Lithuanian connection in one place :) Always nice to remember own funny language :)
After that Goda and Amri

tha came to Rotterdam as well, and the fun weekend started... Satiurday afternoon - we are in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is amazing. It's a bit surreal. Just see the pictures.... On your left you see typical picture of Amsterdam - architecture, canal and bikes. Goda took a gazilion of pictures of this city. It looked a bit funny seeing her being worse than a japanese tourist, but thanks to her we all can enjoy the best sights and moments :) And a huge huge thanks to Floor who took her time to show those beuties :)
The whole surreality comes when the it gets dark. There are two major higlights - Red Lights District and Coffee shops. We've been to both. The first one is like a fake city, having everything - shops, malls, bars, clubs, even theatres, but in the special Red Lights style. In the picture you see one of the T-shirts that you can buy there. And during all the walk there I had a phrase 'Weed is in the air....' in my head :) Of course one coffee shop was also visited, it was one of the cool ones, called The Grasshopper (see above), with a few floors, with dancefloor and a normal bar included, that means if you don't want to smoke you can just chill and have a beer in a non-weed-in-the-air area.
I'm excited!
About what? Everything!
Just wanted to share this with you :)

Life is Good

Yes it is :)
After a conference I had two more free days and spend good tilme in cafes in Brussels with my friend Matthias from Germany.
yesterday we had a tasty Mexican dinner at Jean's place, watched three movies, out of which the last one was horror and accidentaly black and white (it wasn't supposed to!!), so some people got scared at times, and some people had fun watching those who get scared :)
And today, I have just had a super great Day. It's not over yet, but I am already happy :)
The weather was great as never. Warm and sunny, you never tell that it's November :)
We had an after conference meeting. Shared all serious feedback, and also remembering some fun stuff, such as:
- German porn featuring Helga ;)
- Esteban playing jokes with OCs walky-talkies
- After country presentations, realizing, that every of those is in a centre of Europe, has amazing lakes, amazing cities and great infrastructure. Each of those in it's special way :)
- Finding a new country - Smurfland - after Global Village
- Me, Ondra, Boban and Boris emptying the bar
- Some gossip gossip gossip
Today I also finally got press strategy of AIESEC in Belgium giving concrete results:) There is an Article about our conference in
hereAnother great news - Carissa and others, I am coming!!
I am selected to be a DO-IT (AIESEC conference in Switzerland) facilitator! This was one of my personal goals for this year and I am happy to be a part of this conference :) happy happy happy :)
And even one more piece of great news - Ruta, is coming to Rotterdam for an European External Relations meeting! I can't wait to see a friend I've seen so long ago and have a great time with other AIESECers!
New post is definitely gonna be about my travel plans. But that is for tomorrow :)
Musicroom: Bob Sinclair - Love Generation
(Bam, bam, baba bam, bam,)
(baba bam, bam, baba bam babam.......)
From Jamaica to the world,
this is just love,
this is just love,
Yeah!
Why must our children play in the streets,
broken hearts and faded dreams,
listen up to everyone that you meet,
don't you worry, it could be so sweet,
Just look to the rainbow, you will see
sun will shine till eternity,
I've done for much love in my heart,
No-one can tear it apart,
Yeah,
Feel the love generation,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Feel the love generation,
C'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon yeah,
(whistling.....)
Feel the love generation,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Feel the love generation,
Ooohhh yeah-yeah,
Don't worry about a thing,
it's gonna be alright,
Don't worry about a thing,
it's gonna be alright,
Don't worry about a thing,
it's gonna be alright,
Gonna be, gonna, gonna, gonna be alright,
Why must our children play in the streets,
broken hearts and faded dreams,
listen up to everyone that you meet,
don't you worry, it could be so sweet,
Just look to the rainbow, you will see
sun will shine till eternity,
I've done for much love in my heart,
No-one can tear it apart,
Yeah,
(whistling.....)
