May my first post is those eyes-wide-open vegetables :) They are caught here watching one of the stages of Marktrock, a festival in Leuven on 13-15th of August. Me, my 'sisters' Vicky (CEEDer from UK) and Amritha (my teammate from India) and Fadey (trainee from Indonesia) went there on Saturday and Monday, and had a great great fun.

Some highlights:
... getting lost in Leuven. Before the festival we were going to visit a trainee's named Ondra place, where he and his roommate had a BBQ party. Do you think it is easy to find their place in Leuven? Yeah, right ;) Leuven is small, but suddenly it becomes big and complicated when every single person you as for the way, gives you the opposite directions :) I guess after sixth person asked we ran out of patience and still had a hope to taste some BBQ meat, we called Ondra and he picked us up :) BBQ was lots of fun, many nice people in a nice terrace, with nice and good food and drinks. Pictures will be uploaded soon;)
... First Day of Festival, Main Stage. BBQ was so much fun, that we didn't make it to the very beginning, but we got to the best part :) It started with Estelle, a new star from the UK, I knew only one song of hers, but the whole show was impressive! That girls knows how to talk with public:) After that there was a classical Human League, which sounded exactly teh same way as they did back in 80's-90's. Vaya Con Dios, Belgian starts who reunited just a short while ago, where awesome, starting with new sonngs, ending with good old 'Neh nah nah nah'. Finally, Texas, they were on the top! Sharlene Spiteri is sooo dynamic on the stage! All the best songs were payed and sung together with the crowd... 'I don't want a lover, I just need a friend.... ' or 'Here comes the summer sun, it burns my skin...' or 'You can say what you want, but it won't change my mind, I feel the same, about you....' or ... all the others :) The rain and cold didn't matter, stage was on fire!
... Third Day, all the stages. Vicky and Amritha decided to go see Beverli Knight and Craug David on the main stage, and I hung around all the other stages to check the music and public over here. Public is really really interesting - I had my camera handy and was shooting the variety of it - from 5-year to 65-year olds, from flashy colorful clothing to black-dressed punks and goths (i'll upload some pix of them esp for some of my friends back in my country:) ). Music - the same - r'n'b, techno, a'la Manu Chao, punk, rock, electro, anything! I've also accidentaly met trainees - Ondra, Jason, Dy and Diego, and they were lot of fun, esp Ondra fascinated by Bird (singer from UK) - you should have seen his face, and Jason randomly bringing hip-hop rhymes together ('I wanna eat, do you know what I mean?').

... after tha end of it all, rushing to train station, meeting Vicky, Amritha, Vik and his friends, and getting back to Brussels and sharing the best moments of teh weekend :)
