BTW, OASIS concert last Monday...

... was awesome!! I didn't know the songs from the new album, but the old ones were great!
And I could compare it to Jamiroquai concert - it is so much different. Performance is different. The stars moved less on the stage. The crowd was different. It had more hair on their heads :) And less years stating in their IDs :) What I can say, concerts were different, but both were very very cool.

And, after the concert I've discovered that Coke is so much tastier to drink through a straw :)

And, I have to go now, because conference session development is waiting for me :)

Musicroom: David Guetta - the World is Mine

I believe in the wonder
I believe this new life to gain
Like a God that I'm under
There's a drugs running through my veigns

I believe in the wonder
I believe I can touch the flame
There's a spell that I'm under
Got to fly, I don't feel no shame

The world is mine
The world is mine
The world is mine

I've lost my fear to war and peace
I don't mind that (the world is mine)
You took the price and realize
That to your eyes (the world is mine)

Take a look what you've started
In the world flashing from your eyes
And you know that you've got it
From the thunder you feel inside

I believe in the feeling
All the pain that you left to die
Believe in believing
In the life that you give to try

The world is mine
The world is mine
The world is mine

I've lost my fear to what appears
I do my best(the world is mine)
You seem suprised and realize
That to your eyes (the world is mine)

The world is mine
I've lost my fear to what appears
I do my best(the world is mine)
You seem suprised and realize
That to your eyes (the world is mine)

I've lost my fear to what appears
I do my best (the world is mine)
You seem suprised and realize
That to your eyes (the world is mine)

New Step

The last two weeks were one of the worst weeks in my life. I could evaluate as a totally bad period with some random bright moments - like Business Student Night, or nice Saturday sleep. Anyways, I had enough time to think some things over, set some new principles of my work and life and balancing those two :) Like one song says.... 'I should have lived my life much more conscious'. Not should have, but I am getting there :) So I have another song coming in teh next post, which is my motivation right now :)

Jamiroquai and Lithuanian invasion

You thought I forgot the most incredible events that happened in my life during the past week? No way!

She's just a cosmic girl,
Transmitting on my frequency,

My heart's at zero gravity ,
She's cosmic!..

I actually could say he's cosmic, because this guy is absolutely great on the stage. Yes, it's Jay Kay, the frontman of Jamiroquai (or the only member, if you consider Jamiroquai a one-man band).

So, as my brother would say, welcome to the center of the world, just choose what you wanna see on your weekend... In Lithuania there are two grand shows of great bands per year. And here - millions. Just choose! Jamiroquai is one of the choices I haven't regretted :) Everything - the stage, the music, the sound, the effects - were soooo impressive! he played some songs from teh New album, also some classic stuff from 'Travelling without moving' and other good albums :)

I'm going through a black - hey!
Capricorn day
Though you want to check me out
I'm not the man to play, play, play, play....

Mr Jay Kay was as always incredible with his unique stage moves. Me and my friend Goda were extremely lucky to get a place with a nice stage view, so we made a bunch of pictures. Even more - he managed to get down from the stage to let the crazy fans touch him straight in front of where we were standing, so when all the fans started juming on him, we were able to move forward to almost the front row to the stage.

The sho ended with Deeper Underground with a superb sound and ground vibrating. Ahhh, impressive. Although too much of that noise may
damage your health. Luckily, it was just a bit of this, to make public excited.

After that we met up with other guys who were not in the concert or were in different places in the concert hall and had a beer. It's been a long tie since I've seen my friends Goda and Juste from university, and they were visiting me for this weekend. We had plenty of things to talk about, plenty of fun stuff to do :) And I am improving in guding people in Brussels :)

Dainele (in Lithuanian)

Vėl menu peizažą tuooooolimą
Rodo kelią tartum švyyturiajjjj
Moja grįžtančiam namolio man
Sodžiaus jovaraijjjj :) ....

Kažkaip netiketai prisiminiau šią lietuvių liaudies dainą, kurią traukdavom su kai kuriais asmenimis klajodami po barus Vilniuje. Trumpas nostalgijos gabalelis. Iš tiesų, iš šių nekurių žmonių šiuo metu pasireiškia didis žinių trūkumas, tad jeigu Asta, Ona, Fliakis, Liudas, Tadas, Anarchija, Vladas ar Benas parašytų man eilutę kitą, bučiau labai laiminga!

Ps. Nepykit už mano keistą lietuvių kalbą - aš tiesiog mėgaujuos jos išraiškingumu :)

Menu of a Day

Milk with honey
Tea with honey
Tea with honey and vodka
Vodka with lots of pepper
Antibiothics
Multivitamins
Strepsils
A warm scarf

What do they have in common?

They all are for my throat to be healthy again :)
My team is concerned, but I am getting better. Working less, sleeping more.
Receiving more attention, that's not bad :)

The only thing I didn't do - update about my last weekend that I've promised. But it takes a more of writing, so pls be patient untill I get better ;)

Stop the world, I wanna get off!

This piece of System of the Down is the best description of my feelings :)
There are just too many things to be done today, and I still have to fight a cold that I've just caught last weekend. I am coughing like there was a dragon inside me. I would enjoy staying late tonight and doing my job that I just love, but now it's getting difficult.

But it's the last time. Tomorrow, I am going to sleep in, take care of my health, relax and check...
...what I have to do?
...what I have to do today?
...what I have to do today that is important?

...WHAT IS IMPORTANT? This is a question for a day. Every day.

And - Highly Important - I'm gonna write about absolutely marvellous concert that I've been to last Saturday. Tomorrow ;)

FoG

This morning when I woke up the first time I couldn't see anything through my window. It took two more times to wake up to finally decide that it's worth getting out of bed :)
The only thing I regret is that I didn't take a picture of a view through apartment windows before. But I'll do that next time I see sunshine for sure:)

EHSAL's Get-to-Know with Prime Minister :)

Today me and Pedro went to AIESEC EHSAL Get-to-Know day with the new members. It was lots of fun, great presentation and games done by Karla. We have played a game where you have to step only on cardboard plates and get all the team to cross the whole square. But the most amazing thing is that accidentaly we were noticed by the Prime Minister of flanders, and some guy from press who was with him took picture of the event. And Pieter from EHSAL is very happy, 'coz Mr. Prime Minister has got his business card, to send the pictures to us :)
So watch for the newspapers, we will be there;)

Small world

This is the theme of my weekly update ;) But about this - a bit later.

Last weekend we had a national conference in Belgium, which we were focusing since International Congress. It was not a huge one, but lots of fun. LC Ischec's mascot - Smurf was kidnapped by AIA (unofficially - AIESEC Intelligence Agency) and tortured in the most crucial ways ;) People got tipsy and happy during the global village, and the boat race was also fun to watch :) During the conference I've probably slept 5 hours in total, but that's normal - I pay my sleep debts after the weekend ;)

Monday was a day off, but I went to Anwerp to see Students on Stage, seeing freshmen partying throughout the day :) Antwerp is still my fave city, always nice to come :)

Tuesday evening was no less fun either - Jade had their passover/transition party in Jade house. Leo from Jade cooked dinner for all of us and it was so good, that we are seriously thinking about getting him to cook in the LC office for a while ;) Party was also cool, lots of nice people from different youth organizations, interesting people to talk and fun people to party with ;)

Thursday evening was spent in Louvain-La-Neuve, for the LC recruitment AND party after that :) Nothing compares to full Louvain-La-Neuve party experience, by having crowds of people dancing in the square, drinking and spilling the beer all over the place! This reminded me of the festivals I used to go to in Vilnius, in Vingis or Kalnu parks, when I was a student :) Thousands of crazy drunk students...

The rest of the week except for the mentioned days was work work work... which is also something that I love ;) You know, I always use AGFA photofilm when I'm doing photoart... and now I go to HQ of AGFA for an official meeting.

Back to the theme of the post ;) This weekend my good friend Vilija came from London to visit me. We managed to walk... I dunno... enormous distances in Brussels, also visit a Lithuanian-Belgian community meeting and meet people Vilija met a year ago in Chinque Terra, Italy! And now, here we go - same people meet in Brussels! Small world, and getting even smaller.
